Actress Lara Dutta Bhupathi stepped foot in Memory Lane on Wednesday and remembered returning to her hometown of Bengaluru after winning the Miss Universe title in 2000. Lara posted throwback pics on Instagram, a large number of people in Bengaluru had gathered to welcome her.

Lara was the second title winner after Sushmita Sen. She was crowned the 49th Miss Universe in Nicosia, Cyprus. Later, she made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with the film “Andaz”. Lara will be followed by Akshay Kumar, Vani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi starrer “Bell Bottom”.
