After promoting digital entertainment with The Final Call in 2019, actor-dancer Javed Jaffrey is gearing up for his upcoming film Siddharth Kumar Tiwari’s tech thriller, Escape Live.
“In the current technological environment, Escape Live plunges deep into the minds of young Indians to reflect its impact on their lives,” says the actor who entered Bollywood with Mary Jung in 1985.
Jaffrey, 56, who drew in the series is unexpected of his character. “My character is layered, not just black or white. He has tremendous potential and the process of finding us to go along has been very good,” the actor, Shweta Tripathi Sharma with Siddharth, will be seen watching the screen with Valushcha. D Sosa, Plebita Borthakur and Swastika Mukherjee. “Working with all these versatile and committed talents on board is really incredible and discreet,” he adds.
Currently shooting in Umbergaon, the series follows the lives of five individuals who are trying to transform their physical lives with the promise of overnight fame and fortune on a live broadcast app. This series explores the suspended reality of the Internet and its impact on emerging digital India.
