Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is set to turn his scout-nominated film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” into a novel. According to Variety, the novel will be under a new two-book deal that Tarantino signed with publisher HarperCollins, the company announced Tuesday.
The novel ‘Once upon a time in Hollywood’ marks the first work of literature in the print of Tara Rantino. The book will be published in the summer of 2021.
According to a press release cited by Variety, the book will not rewrite the story of the film, but will expand on the original story and give it a new playful and shocking departure from the film.
The book will be inspired by the classic movie novels that inspired Tarantino. The book will be published as the first paperback book, along with an ebook and digital ob diobook version, which will come later in the fall of the discus hardcover edition 2021.
