Actor Peter Dinklage will be seen in the reboot of American superhero Black Come Come Mady, The Toxic Avenger.
Con Blair will write and direct the project, which is described as a contemporary revival of the 1984 hit film of the same name, reports various.com. Dinklage will play the role of Toki, the superhero around whom the film revolves.
Originally known as Melvin, the protagonist changes when he is thrown into toxic waste, and soon assumes a toxic moniker. To save his son, friends and community from corruption and greed, Toxy should rise to the occasion and become a hero.
After the debut of the original Toxic Avenger film, it became a cult classic and expanded into musical production, children’s cartoon series and Marvel Comics.
Dinklage gained global popularity and was criticized for playing Tyrion Lister Nister in the blockbuster series Game Th f Throns, for which he won four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. He is currently shooting Sirano with director W Wright.
Dinklage’s other credits include My Dinner with Harvey, Avengers: Endless War, and The Days of the X-Men: Future Past.
