Based on his chosen films, Manoj Bajpayee has hardly had the opportunity to invent dance on screen. That is not to say that the actor does not get the pleasure of waving his legs in front of Ka Mera – after all, don’t we all remember his tapori dance in the dream of Satya (1998) Me Milti Hai? For his upcoming film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, Bajpayee wore her dancing shoes, and stepped into Basanti with Karisma Tanna and Abhishek Banerjee.
“I didn’t invent dance, as an expression, I would have liked it as much. When I said yes to the film, I was waiting for a special dance sequence. I shot the ball for this song, and it “I realize I can do more than that,” says Bajpayee.

Interestingly, the actors are unfamiliar in numbers as it is a game of heavy prosthetics and pot belly. Considering the adventure directed by Abhishek Sharma in the 90s, choreographer Vijay Ganguly remained true for decades and encouraged artists to adopt freestyle dance. The hand of the unit reveals that during the shooting, Ganguly and Bajpayee took spontaneous steps so that the latter could be divided into beggars.
Bajpayee says that as a spectator, he regularly enjoys the song-dance of Indian films. “Mainstream Hindi movies have an extension of lyric narration, and this song is crucial in this film as well. I am not usually a fan of dancing in films, but I don’t mind telling more stories.” In the November 13 release, Bajpayee plays the role of a wedding spy who fights with a future groom, as recorded by Diljit Dosanjh.
