Last evening, Karan Johar apologized to Madhur Bhandarkar for his “complaints” over the title of his Netflix series, The Fabulous Live of Bollywood Bollywood Bollywood Wives. Bhandarkar, who owns the rights to Bollywood Wives, sent a notice to Johar seeking a change of title.

After Bhandarkar refused to participate with him, Kejo tweeted him for the show. Johar posted that he “did not expect” Bhandarkar to be “upset”.
While accepting Cage’s apology, Bhandarkar wrote, “The fact that you went and used the title despite our conversation hurts me a lot. Real relationships don’t work that way, let’s move on.” See Bhandarkar’s tweet in full below:

Madhur Bhandarkar announced Bollywood Wives in 2016 and the film project is under development. Johar, meanwhile, announced the creation of a web series, Fabulous Lives Bollywood F Bollywood Bollywood Wives. A few days back, Bhandarkar tweeted that he had refused to give the title to Apurva Mehta of Karan Johar’s production house.
