Hollywood star George Clooney has admitted that he was bad in the 1997 superhero film ‘Batman and Robin’. “I was bad at it. It’s a bad movie. But I was also held in a weird way responsible for it. Then I realized that if you become Batman in ‘Batman and Robin’, you’ll be caught responsible. Which I never did Happened, ”he said.
For him, he was still a cast actor. At that moment, “I was, ‘I have to choose the script, not the part.’ So, the next script I was ‘out of site’ and the next I was ‘Three Kings.’ Then, ‘Oh brother, where art you?’, ”He shared.
“Everyone will say ‘Batman’ is not the best. But the good news for me was that I was able to take it as a lesson in opposition to a career.”
Clooney said he doesn’t even enjoy the experience of making a film, because everyone on the set was having such a hard time.
“I didn’t have that experience. I love (director) Joel Schumacher, I love the actors. But everyone had a hard time. There was a lot of tension. The shooting took about eight months.”
“I was doing ‘ER’ when I was doing it – four days a week on Batman, three days a week on ‘ER’. Seven days a week. It was just a slog,” he added.
He said there were many problems with the film. “But, you know, the one problem was that I wasn’t very good at it. Reasonable enough! I can’t point a finger at everyone else and point fingers at me.”
