Disintegration in Junagadh Congress before elections, these leaders wore BJP scarf

Local government elections are coming up in the coming days. That is when tensions started between the BJP and the Congress over the local body elections. Both the parties are working out a strategy for the elections. Whenever there is an election in the state, a party coup begins. Dissatisfied leaders or leaders who are angry with the party revolt. Then, before the elections in Gujarat, the BJP and the Congress are being hit one after another. Then the Gujarat Congress has suffered another blow. In Junagadh, the former district youth Congress president of the Congress left the party and wore the BJP’s saffron scarf. Local self-government elections are approaching. As such, the disintegration in the Congress is increasing.

According to reports, Vinu Busa, a district panchayat member elected from the Congress in the Junagadh district panchayat Sasan seat, and Jolit Busa, a former president of the Junagadh district youth Congress, are wearing BJP scarves. With the suspension of Jolit Busa by the Congress, he has taken the BJP by storm. Cabinet Minister Jawahar Chawda welcomed Jolit Busa and Vinu Busa to the party wearing headscarves.

Importantly, Jawahar Chawda was also elected as an MLA from the Congress in 2017 and then resigned from the party and joined the BJP. He was made a cabinet minister soon after joining the BJP. In the subsequent by-elections, Jawahar Chawda was elected as the BJP MLA. Junagadh’s politics is already heating up ahead of the upcoming local body elections.

It may be mentioned that on January 11, in the BJP’s program in Bhavnagar’s Mahuva, state vice president Mahendrasinh Sarvaiya, MP Naran Kachhdia, zone general secretary Bhupat Baraiya and MLA R.C. In the presence of leaders and activists including Makwana, former Mahuva district Congress president and Koli Samaj president Praveen Wala, Sendarda district panchayat member Rameshbhai, former district panchayat member Rawat Kamalia and his supporters wore BJP scarves. The BJP vice-president, MPs and MLAs welcomed the Congress members to the party. On the one hand, the BJP is talking about a Congress-free Gujarat, but on the other hand, the BJP leaders are welcoming Congress workers and leaders into the party.
