Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja added that for the purpose of timely death assistance and sickness assistance to the families of legislators by the state government under the visionary leadership of CM Vijay Rupani Deputy CM Nitin Patel under the guidance of Law Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in the budget for the financial year 2020-2021. He added that the Bar Council provides death assistance to the families of deceased legislators from the Legislators’ Welfare Fund. As well as illness assistance to legislators in serious illnesses. For this, the Bar Council of Gujarat had submitted a check to the legislators to assist them in paying the amount of death assistance as well as sickness assistance from the Welfare Fund, for which the check has been awarded. He added that with the assistance of Rs 5 crore, the Bar Council of Gujarat will be able to provide immediate assistance to the families of legislators who are yet to pay death assistance as well as sickness assistance.
